About This Horse
One of the great pleasures of breeding young racehorses is watching how they behave when they think no one’s looking — and if attitude counts for anything in a racehorse, this gelding has it in spades.
He’s by the exciting young sire Royal Meeting, whose first-season runners already include Group 1 Blue Diamond winner Hayasugi. Strong hindquarters, good length through the neck, and an easy, flowing walk — he’s an athlete who knows it.
On his dam’s side, he’s a grandson of the legendary So You Think, a ten-time Group 1 winner and the best son of champion sire High Chaparral. His dam, So You Wonder, is unraced herself but is already the dam of a winner in Boss Boy, with second foal Royal Wonder showing plenty of promise in full training.
He was broken in early 2025, completed pre-training with Bryan Maher at Benalla, and has now returned to a second period of education with Lee and Shannon Hope at Seymour — the next step on his way to the races.
We know times are tough, which is why this gelding is priced at just $2,750 for a 5% share, with nothing further to pay until October 1 — by which time he’ll be close to racing.
